The bridge from VT to NY is not suitable for bicycles.  We will meet the SAG before the bridge and ferry bicyclists in the SAG to the NY side.

We anticipate 2 driving days to/from the tour from/to Hendersonville

COMPOSITES OF PLANS

I've gone through the routes to get familiar with the routes. while in the process I added Sag change overs, lunch sites, and final motel as Points of Interest in the Ride With GPS routes. Also downloaded the routes as gpx files so they transfer the route and those waypoints to my gps. I assume they would do likewise for Dakotas. Only the Waypoints will go to a Garmin Nuvi that is in the van but they are tres utile when driving sag. I'd have been dead in Columbus without Jill. Here's the link.
