Hi guys!
This is a special edition photo email for the bike fans in the group. Lee and I did this really cool ride (we completed about 18 miles but it goes much longer) in Burlington, VT which has an incredible rails-to-trails path that hugs the shoreline of Lake Champlain, and then it extends into a causeway right out into the middle of the lake for several miles! It is so beautiful and it is exclusively for bikes. Interestingly, there is a roughly 200 foot gap in the causeway so that boats can pass, but if you want to keep going you can make the crossing with your bike by a bike ferry($4) and continue on biking onto the island that it connects to.
Have you ever seen anything like this? Maybe another FOGBEE destination?
Love, Lisa
